Sailor Moon Brooch

My love of Sailor Moon is flaring up and I like it. I have always loved Sailor Moon but there was a bit of a lull there. I think since I found Tumblr and joined it is really easy to look at tons of cool pictures under any label or tag. Anyhoo, I was browsing the Sailor Moon tag and I spotted this little gem. Well, not this one but the one for Chibi Moon that was for sale on an Etsy shop.
I love the pink Chibi Moon brooch with its big gem and lots of pink but I just couldn't buy it. As much as I love Sailor Moon I kind of hate Chibi Moon. I have always found found her really annoying. I wanted to see more of the shop where the Chibi Moon brooch came from and I saw the Sailor Moon brooch. I knew I had to have it. I think I thought about it for 3 seconds and I was already clicking purchase. Each one is special order so I have to wait 3 more weeks for it to come in the mail but it is worth the wait. I will have to take some pictures of it when it comes. The best part is I can wear it with Lolita since it is not costumey.

I bought it from Kuma Crafts. They have lots of really cute and cool stuff. The prices are very reasonable. They have everything from a necklace with an ice cream cone, ninja cat shirts, and everything in between.

Monster High Treasury on Etsy

Making Treasurys on Etsy are a bit addicting because the more I make, the more I want to make them. Instead of making another one that is Lolita inspired I decided to make a Monster High one. I really like Monster High. Since I don't have the money for ball jointed bolls like Super Dollfie I will buy something a few steps down. They are pretty cool dolls. Perhaps I will in the future do a post on my dolls but for this post it is about the treasury. Enjoy!

Sweet Lolita Etsy Treasury

I love Etsy! It is so much fun to browse around and see all the fun things that people have made. There is just so much and people are always adding more. One the front page there is always a selected bunch of items that have been rounded up by a user. It is called a Treasury. They are fun and easy to make. Just come up with a theme, find the items you want, and build your Treasury. Easy.

Last night I got the itch to make my own and I wanted to make a Lolita one. Why not? So, I scoured all the sweet and pink items I could find and put together this cute collection. All of these items come from shops with oodles of cute things that any Lolita would love. Click here to see the Treasury and check all the shops out. All of the prices are more than reasonable and within most everyone's budget.

On a completely separate note, the Rite Aid down the road from me is moving and they are selling everything at 75% off. This includes make up and certain hair accessories. I am going to check it out today and see what I can scoop up. The store is really selling its good fast so I have a feeling it might be slim pickings. I will show you what I was able to grab tomorrow. See ya!

Blooming Pink Roses

I wanted to make use of the cool pink pearl beads that I got at the new bead shop that is close to me.  So, I grabbed my jewelry making goodies and got to work last night.  I had an idea in my head of what I wanted it to look like and it changed a couple times as I was working on it.  I have to say though, I freaking love how it came out.  I think it is my best work yet.
I will take more pictures of me wearing it and post them this weekend.
I am also going to post it up for sale on Etsy in a couple day as well, or if you absolutely have to have it now you can shoot me an e-mail or leave a comment.

Cute Etsy Finds

I am constantly scouring the depths of Etsy to find cute items and see what is going on.  In my travels tonight I stumbled upon some of the cutest hair corsages/round headdresses that I have seen in some time.;p[[[[[[[[[[[[[[00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000  Excuse that bit of rubbish.  One of my cute kitties wanted to add something to the blog and just walked on the keyboard to add her 2 cents.
Anyway, these cute pieces are irresistible.  They are made by Alice Arisu Hearts.  Take a peek at her shop!

Yummy yummy Strawberries

One of my favorite themes with jewelry and accessories is strawberries.  They are so cute and fresh looking.  It takes almost all of my willpower not to keep the strawberry charms when I buy them because I realize a lot of other people like strawberries too.
Perhaps I should make an entire outfit themed to strawberries.  I could buy a cute strawberry print fabric to make a JSK or Op.  Make oodles of strawberry jewelry and accessories.
Here are some of the strawberry items in my shop that are for sale.  And as always I am doing the free ring with any purchase.

Necklaces that are Too Cool For School

I have been making what I think are really cool necklaces.  Perhaps, too cool for school.  I am really digging big bows right now.  I am also digging clusters of little charms that dangle all cutely together.  I put up a few in my Etsy shop.  I love them so much I will be a tad sad to see them go when they get sold.
As a little bonus to my loyal blog readers I want to add a little something to any purchase that you girly girls make.  If you buy anything from my shop, from a ring to a cake hat, I will slip a cute ring along with your order.

Sweet Treats and Delicious Desserts

I am getting back to my jewelry making roots and using the cute cookie and biscuits charms that I started making jewelry with. I had forgotten how cute and delicate they look. There is something about jewelry and accessories that are little treats, cookies, and other yummies. I am in the process of listing them on Etsy right now.
I haven't really been into earrings for a while but I have to admit, I really like these cookie earrings. They are the perfect length. They have the cutest bit of dangle.
One thing I do love and always have is rings.  Slapping on a couple of cute rings is one of the easiest ways to "cute up" on outfit.  I work at the front desk of my local YMCA and we are required to wear a red YMCA polo shirt.  This does not allow for a whole lot of creativity wardrobe wise.  I remedy this by doing a cute hair style and adding 1 or 2 adorable rings to my fingers.  I am always filing out paper work, handing out info, pointing things out/giving directions, and flashing my hands around.  Rings make my hands and me feel pretty.  The cookie rings are almost too much cute for me.  And as always I add a fun necklace and /or bracelet to the mix.   The cake necklace is yummy looking and the heart charm bracelet is so much fun.

I am pretty sure everyone likes fairies.

I am pretty darn sure everyone likes fairies.  They are pretty, fly around, tend to sparkle or shine, and are always happy.  (Except for Tinker Bell, but she was kind of a bitch)
Since we loves fairies I am going to do a little something with my Spring Time Fairies Collection in my Etsy shop.  If anyone buys a piece from the fairy collection I will send along a couple of cute rings with your order.  Just mention this in the this when you make your purchase.  What could be better, cute fairies and free rings!  Yea!

New Items to Buy for Spring

I just got a shippment of supplies in the mail a little over a week ago so I have been crafting up a storm.  new earrings and necklaces were my focus.  I got the cutest gold chain that is sooo sparkly and delicate that I am using it up like it is going out of style.
I love getting new supplies!  It is so fun.  You get the package open it up and all of these ideas pop like bubbles into my head.  Since it is spring I decided to make most of the pieces light, delicate, and super feminine.  I also added a bit more shine and sparkle than I normally do.
I havn't been too into earrings because I don't wear them but the supplies I ordered just screamed to be made into pretty dangly earrings.

I also made several cute necklaces.  I went with a few large charms and sprinkling of smaller ones with the bow necklaces.  There is something about a big bow that just gets me and makes me smile.  Here are the first 2 necklaces that I have put up in the shop.  I will be adding more tonight and tomorrow.

I will have to get gussied up and take some pictures of me wearing the new pieces.  Perhaps later this week.  Bye.

Free Stuff! Yea!

That is right.  Free stuffs.  I am going to Penny Arcade Expo this weekend.  I have been working on these cute dresses to wear so I should be pretty easy to spot.  Why would you want to spot me there you ask?  Well, if you go to PAX and find me I will give you a lucky pack of cute jewelry and accessories.  All you have to do is find me on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, come up to me and tell me that you want free jewelry I will give it to you.  Perhaps I should come up with a password, lets see.  The passoword will be "SWEET".  You don't have to be in Lolita but if you do come in Lolita you might just get a little something extra on top of the lucky pack.
Lets break it down.  Come to PAX, find me in my Gabe or Tycho dress, and give me the password SWEET, and then you get free goodies.  Even if you don't remember the password I will still probably give you stuff.
Look out for these dresses.  (they will be finished at PAX, duh)

I don't want to post the finished pictures yet because I want it to be a suprise.  look for them tomorrow or Friday.  Also, if you are interested in pictures of PAX I am planning on bringning my camera and camcorder and posting them the pics/videos on the blog all weekend.

Huge Rings!

I got a new batch of charms and cabs in the other day so I pulled out my favorite huge charms and made some "almost ridiculously" huge rings.  These charms are all between 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide.  I am in the middle of putting them for sale in my Etsy shop.
I have to use all of my willpower not to keep the strawberry one for myself.  I am a sucker for all things strawberries.  (My husband calls me his little strawberry)  To give you a sense of scale here is a picture of one of the rings on my model hand.. The hand is pretty darn close to the size of my hand (I have small to medium sized hands).

Hop on over to my Etsy shop and see if anything strikes your fancy.  I am selling them for $5.00 a pop.
On a completely separate note my kitty Eirwyn (said like Air and win)  is flipping out this morning and jumping around like a tiny crazy little bean.  Here is a quick little shot of here and her cute face.
