Winter Metamorphose Lucky Packs For Sale

Lucky Packs are in full swing and I love the Meta Winter Lucky Pack.  

 Both of the packs look great but there is something about the grey set.  You don't see grey in Lolita a whole lot, what a shame, and I think it is lovely.  The actual design of the JSK is simple but enough.  A simple low neckline, 2 two tier skirt, 5 tasteful bows, and flattering fit make this a great piece.  

The whole lucky pack is strong.  Your standard blouse, JSK, socks, jewelry, a head piece, bag, and bloomers.  The bag is kind of interesting.  I would never pair a gym bag style bag with Lolita but I think it is kind of neat.  It is the perfect size for a busy day out or a sleep over.  

I really love the JSK.  I think I might try to make my own.

Metamorphose Airline Hats

I know this isn't really traditional Lolita wear but I have to admit, I LOVE the Meta Airline Hats.  The dresses are cute but a little too "theme" for me.  I know the hats are theme as well but look how cute they are with their little bows.  

So cute.   I have never made a hat like these before but I might try to figure it out.  I have a big soft spot for the orange and white hat.  I think the hat style and colors make it the least Lolita hat ever but I can't help but love it.  Also, I really like the scarves as well.  I think these hats look so sweet because they remind me of the hats that soda shop and ice cream shop employees used to wear.

  Lucky Packs are one of the best things that Lolita has available to them.  Even if you don't have tons of money to throw around buying a Lucky Pack makes it easy to get Lolita clothing for cheap.  Meta is a lovely brand that makes lovely pieces and now you can scoop up some pretty clothing for a great deal.

These 2011 Autumn Meta Lucky Packs are now available, and they are super cute.  I really love the red bag.  I have a certain weakness for Lolita bags and that red round one is perfect.  The print bag is pretty spiffy as well.

Now, keep in mind.  If you have never bought a Lucky Pack or really know much about them they are a little special.  Once you order and Pay Meta you will receive a very exciting package in the mail and what is in it will be a surprise.  You never know exactly what you are going to get.  Yes, you know you will get a JSK or dress, a bag, socks, and a top.  But, the rest is up to the fates.  That is why I love seeing the Lucky Pack posts on egl.  It is great to see everyone so excited to open the bag up and reveal their new goodies.  So cool.

Macross and Metamorphose

  Doing my usual thing today on line I ran into this cute bit of info.  Metamorphose made collaboration pieces with the anime Macross.  (On a side note, Baby also made pieces but they are under wraps right now)  

 The above picture is of one of the characters from the anime wearing a super cute pink and green dress.  pictured with the green haired cutie is on of the shop girls cosplaying.  Now for the Meta.

Not bad.  I am not super in love with them but I must say the dress on the right hand side is cute.  I think my favorite part is the little hat with the white feather.  The light pink and minty green go together well and really make a nice color pairing.  The only thing that really gets me about the dress is the blunt seams on the bottom of the vest.  They are so sharp for Lolita and also don't really match the softness and round edges of the rest of the dress.  I get it though.  This is a collaborative piece with an anime and they are all about vest style tops.  It looks good on paper and on tv.

The white dress is really fun.  I would wear thing outfit on a day when I am feeling a little spicy.  I do love the jacket.  I would pair that with other pieces on a regular basis.  The half caplet is cute.  I really like capes and capeletes now.  They are perfect for the upcoming Spring weather and temperatures.

Sure Metamorphose, I want to look huge and pregnant.

  I was making my morning rounds of Lolita and kitty blogs and stumbled upon The Itty Bitty (not to be confused The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee).  I highly suggest you check it out.  It is super cute and will be part of my daily read.  I am always looking for new blogs to read and I love to add to the list.  The latest post on The Itty Bitty highlighted the latest from Meta and boy was I upset with Meta.  This is what I saw.

  That adorable 100 pound girl looks as if she is pregnant or is hiding a watermelon under her layers.  I like a dress that has an empire waist.  Alice and The Pirates has a couple dresses that I just adore with that certain design element. They know how to use it properly though.  This dress though, just, looks so unflattering.  I find with an empire waist the dress must have a bottom that has a little less poof to it.  Don't get me wrong.  I am not Meta hater.  Actually, I love Meta and it is one of my favorite brands. and for the most parts I really like their stuff.
  Even with a super thin or fit girl, an unflattering dress will make them look fat.  Just drop the waist and it is a great dress.  I made a little change and this is what I got.  The silhouette is much more flattering. 

Please keep in mind that this is just my opinion and my feelings.  I am sure there are girls who love it as is and think that it is flattering.  To each his own.  I just have strong feelings toward this dress and wanted to share my thoughts.
