Cake Hats and Tea Cup Hats

  Hello all.  I am super excited and proud to present my new and improved cake and tea cup has.  I love them and I think they should be more popular amongst the Lolita set.  You see the occasional tiny and tasty hat matched with a great Lolita coordinate but I would love to see more.  So, the only way to make that happen is to put more out in the world.

 I tried something a bit different with this cake hat.  I wanted to make it look real.  Well, as real as a hat is going to look.  The light brown lace looks like cocoa powder.  It makes me hungry just looking at it.  Do you like the real looking dessert hat or prefer the funky colors?

More Cake Hats!!

  I sold 2 cake hats this past week!  I know this does not seem like a big deal but this is a landmark of sorts with my business.  With this selling of 2 cake hats it marks the first time that I have sold items from my Etsy shop in the same month.  Before this, all of my sales have had a month in between.  Do you know how discouraging it is to only sell one item per month.  But, I have persevered and now I am starting to see the fruits of my labor.  More people look at and favorite my Etsy shop everyday, My EGL sales are good, and I have had my first blog approach me to put me in their adds and sell my products on their blog/site.
  Here are a few pictures of the new hats.  I will be selling them on EGL first in a sales post and whatever does not sell will go right up on my Esty shop.

Everyone loves cake!

  My cake hats have been getting a bit of attention lately.  People on Flickr are "Favoriting" and commenting on the pictures of the cake hats and people are asking about buying them.  I really hope they become popular.  They are so darn sweet.  I can't help myself.

  I sure could go for a real slice of cake right now.

Who likes accessories?

  I had my husband take a few pictures o me today just or funsies.  This one was my favorite of the lot.
I love love love the cake hats that I am making.  I cannot wait to make more.
